The Grain & Fertilizer Terminal is located at QASIM Harbor, Karachi, Pakistan, closely near the QICT international container quay extension works. The project mainly includes 79550m2 grain and fertilizer yards, warehouse and a 300m quay wall, including dredging to -15.6m.
The project is divided into quay and yards, wherein the quay mainly includes dredging before quay, steel-pile foundation, cast-in-site beam, track beam, mooring components, cast-in-site pavement, installation of tracks, installation of fenders and other quay facilities, surface on quay and auxiliary facilities on quay; the yards mainly include quay slope protection, dyke, backfilling and compacting for yards, warehouse for bulk fertilizer, PHC pile foundation for grain warehouse, road in yards, installation of prefabricated blocks, communications, pipeline, enclosure and supporting houses and navigation signs.
