Liu Qitao, the President of CCCC met the Chairman of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and local bankers circle in Doha on March 12, 2011. Mr. Sun Ziyu, the Chief Engineer of CCCC and Chairman & President of CHEC, attended the meeting.
Liu Qitao made an introduction about the business of CCCC in the Middle East to Chairman. The Chairman and local bankers highly praised CCCC for its powerful strength and business achievements and showed their good intention to expand and deepen cooperation with CCCC and CHEC.
While talking with Chinese Ambassador to Qatar, Liu Qitao introduced the rapid development and outstanding achievements of CCCC during the Eleventh Five-year Plan period and its business scope, operation characteristics and core competence. While talking about business expansion and project implementation of CCCC in Qatar, Liu Qitao further introduced Doha New Port Project, the contract of which would soon be signed. He also introduced subsequent projects of Doha New Port Project and other projects to be tracked with great attention. The Ambassador highly spoke of CCCC for its complete industry chain structure, innovation ability in science and technology and potential of continuous development and said that he would actively help Chinese enterprises with great international competence like CCCC carry out business and undertake large projects in Qatar.
Liu Qiaotao and the Ambassador also exchanged extensive and profound opinions on properly carrying out project construction, building brand and other work in Qatar and even the Middle East. They both believed that while implementing the "going global" strategy of the State and expanding overseas market, Chinese enterprises should not only seek their own development but also should undertake social responsibilities of enterprises and make contribution to building image of the State.
The meetings were also attended by Sun Guoqiang, President of CCCC Fourth Harbour Engineering Co., Ltd. and Mo Wenhe, Vice Presdient of CHEC.
