The CHEC Sri Lanka Regional Company successfully organized 3,266 Chinese compatriots in Sri Lanka to receive the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on October 25, including 572 employees of the CCCC in Sri Lanka. The vaccination was uniformly led by the Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka, and the Regional Company took the lead in organizing and implementing the vaccination as the president unit of the China Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka.

Enjoying the full support of the Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka and the efficient guidance of the principal in charge of the Regional Company, the Regional Company completed the vaccination deployment in just three days. Colombo Port City was the main vaccination center, with a cumulative number of 2,724 people vaccinated on October 22 and October 23. During the vaccination process, the entire staff stuck to their posts, full of enthusiasm and dedication to ensure an efficient and orderly vaccination procedure. Blue Vest Volunteers of the CCCC have always been active in their pre-set posts, effectively ensuring the smooth operation of the vaccination processes, showing the fine mental outlook of CCCC staff. Chinese citizens in Sri Lanka (including residents of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) who have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in Sri Lanka or in China are eligible for the third dose.

The third dose of vaccination not only strengthened the defense line against the epidemic, reassured the people and made them feel the warmth and the care of the motherland and the Party, but also enhanced the China-Sri Lanka friendship and wrote another touching chapter of the China-Sri Lanka cooperation against the epidemic. During this vaccination, CHEC earnestly fulfilled its corporate social responsibility, won the unanimous praise of the Embassy, the local government and the Chinese compatriots in Sri Lanka, to build its brand image.
